Game Appearances

Shin Megami Tensei

The Shopping Arcade is one of the first places that the Hero visits, when his Mother sends him to purchase some coffee beans at the Arcade's Cafe. While visiting the Cafe, he runs into Yuriko, a woman he had met in his dream earlier that morning. He also overhears rumors of a murder taking place at Inogashira Park and a crazed man brandishing a knife hiding behind the Arcade's Drug Store. While investigating, the Hero finds the individual, who is revealed to actually be a Preta in disguise. The Hero survives the encounter and the Preta drops its Attack Knife as it flees.

Later, after escaping the Hospital with the Law Hero, the pair return to the Shopping Arcade and find the Chaos Hero being beaten by Ozawa and his gang. Law Hero intervenes, which breaks up the group, much to Chaos Hero's chagrin at him getting involved. However, Chaos Hero recognizes the Hero as the one he saw in his dreams and decides to join the party.
