Synopsis
The audio drama takes place at the end of August, between episodes 13/14 and episode 15 of Persona 4 The Animation.
Yu is on his way to meet with Ai in a larger, neighboring city to help her buy makeup. When he drops by Inaba Police Station to drop something off for his uncle, he learns that Adachi has been told to go on an errand to deliver souvenir snacks to the prefectural police headquarters in the same neighboring city. Dojima tells Yu to go with Adachi, who has been trying to come up with excuses not to go. Together, the two end up in a series of unfortunate events when Adachi's car breaks down and they have to take the train into the neighboring city.
Along the way, Yu tries to help out people in need, but all of it backfires on him, and Adachi's box of souvenir snacks ends up being crushed. Adachi gives up and tries to get in contact with Dojima while Yu continues on to meet with Ai despite being late. After finding Ai still waiting for him, and saying she thought he was really coming, Yu goes back to Adachi and convinces him that you have to keep going so long as someone is relying on you. Adachi buys a replacement souvenir and finally delivers it to the prefectural police headquarters.
Meanwhile, Teddie happens to spot Yu in Adachi's patrol car, and assumes that Adachi has arrested Yu for something. The rest of the Investigation Team tracks the two of them down and follows them to the neighboring city to try and clear Yu's name. After realizing it was a misunderstanding, Adachi takes off by himself and reports back to Dojima while Yu heads home with his friends.
