Matador is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.
Profile
Origin
Matador is a Demon based off of not a specific god or demon, but instead the Mesoamerican, South American and Spanish tradition of bullfighting, in which the main performer, the one who ultimately kills the bull, is addressed with the formal title of Matador.
Design
Matador appears as a skeletal figure, matching the design motif of the nine Fiends, wearing the standard outfit of a Spanish matador: A green-and gold coat, hat, and boots, with white pants and a white cravat fastened with a red clasp. In his right hand, he holds a red capote suspended on a bar, and in his left hand wields a curved saber with a gold hilt.
In the Chinese version of Persona 5: The Phantom X, Matador's head was changed from a skull to a human head wearing a skull-like mask.
