Yoshitsune is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Profile

Origin

Design

Yoshitsune appears as a young man clad in red-and-black samurai armor and a black cap. The mon of the Minamoto clan, colored red, appears on his hat and on the torso of his armor. He holds a katana in his right hand and a wakizashi in his left, in a reverse grip. He has pale skin and a pink scar across his left eye, and long black hair.

Also known as Ushiwakamaru, he is said to have learned the art of war from the Mt. Kurama Tengu. On joining his half- brother Yoritomo's army, he defeated the Taira one by one, finishing them off at the battle of Dan-no-ura. He was later pursued by Yoritomo's army, only to kill himself at Koromogawa.
