Sonic is the titular character of the Sonic the Hedgehog series featured in Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2.

Profile

Sonic the Hedgehog is the main protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series and Sega's mascot. He is an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog renowned for his incredible speed, capable of moving faster than the speed of sound.

A freedom-loving and adventurous hero, Sonic uses his speed and spinning attacks to battle enemies, especially Dr. Eggman and his robotic forces. Throughout his adventures, he has traveled across worlds, dimensions, and timelines while protecting others from danger.

Sonic was part of a collaboration celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog series and was available from June 23, 2021 at 23:00 PDT to July 7, 2021 at 22:59 PDT through the Sonic Step-up Summon and Sonic Gem Summon.[1]He was a limited-time 4★ demon, with a 4★ Sonic guaranteed from Steps 2 through 10 of the Sonic Step-up Summon.

During a case in Akihabara, the Liberators corner an Acolyte who attempts to use a machine created by a doctor to connect different worlds and obtain demons from them. After connecting the machine to an old game cabinet, a bright flash summons Sonic. The Acolyte mistakes him for a demon and orders him to fight, but Sonic refuses and instead causes the Acolyte's demons to disappear before running off. The Acolyte then escapes on a Hell Biker's motorcycle, but Sonic returns after noticing the chase and challenges him to a race. Sonic quickly catches up and causes the motorcycle to crash, allowing the Liberators to apprehend the Acolyte and rescue a nearby boy. When Megakin asks if he is Sonic, he introduces himself as Sonic the Hedgehog before running off, with Megakin suggesting that they will see him again.
