Origin

Serqet was an Egyptian goddess associated with healing from venom, especially scorpion stings, and in the Old Kingdom period Serqet was a protector of the Pharaoh and the embalmers of the deceased. She was also credited as one of the gods that assisted in containing Apep. While she was originally a wholly separate deity from Isis, with some myths having her among those that protecting Isis as she gave birth to Horus, Serqet became conflated with the goddess Isis and was later considered an aspect of Isis rather than an individual goddess.

Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon	A scorpion goddess from Egypt who resides in the netherworld and watches over the evil serpent Apep. She is also the protector of the Nile, and aided the goddess Isis in the reclamation of Osiris.
