Nomenclature

Names in Other Languages
Language Name Meaning
Japanese お守りレキシー Omamori rekishī Amulet/protection rekishī

Rekishī is a modified katakana transliteration of 轢死, meaning death by being run over. All of the plush doll Shadows have themed names that refer to different ways to die. Atlus picked this naming scheme based on how they're a video game company and wanted to include death by overwork[1] which is where Earnest Calocy's name comes from.
