Origin

Druj, meaning "falsehood" or "deceit", is a concept in Zoroastrianism. It is the opposite of aṧa, which means "truth" or "order". This demon likely represents Nasu, a Zoroastrian demon associated with corpses that is depicted as a fly and sometimes called "Druj Nasu".
