Kōji Okada (岡田耕始, Okada Kōji), also known as Cozy Okada,[a] is the co-creator of the Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei and Persona franchises, and one of the founders of Atlus. Okada left Atlus in 2003.[1]

Early Life
He started a band Influenced by his older brother, and also fell in love with gaming, often playing Space Invaders all night long. He wanted to build car engines but was discouraged when told he had to graduate from university. However, he didn't give up on engineering, and graduated from a mechanical design school and joined the Universal Entertainment that made arcade cabinets, where he developed pachinko machines. When the company moved to Tochigi, the long commute forced him to quit. He then joined the Tehkan, but left again because he couldn't make games freely. Finally, he and six colleagues rented an apartment and founded Atlus.[2][3]
