Belobog is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.
Profile
Origin
Bělobog is an alleged god formerly assumed to have been mentioned (though not by name) in Helmold's Chronicles of the Slavs. Helmold mentions the Polabian Slavs' worship of two gods, a good god and a bad god, but only gives the name of the bad god (Zcerneboch, i.e. Chernobog, meaning "black god").[1] The name of the good god as Belobog ("white god") was derived by later writers by analogy with the black god.[2] The actual name Helmold gave to the "good god" was Zuantevith, who was mentioned in the next sentence.[3]
Design
Belobog's design complements that of Chernobog, whose design is inspired by the character Golden Bat created by Suzuki Ichiro and Takeo Nagamatsu.
