Persona 4 is a manga adaptation of the video game Persona 4, written and illustrated by Shūji Sogabe. It was published in Kadokawa's Dengeki Maō magazine and the Persona magazine, and licensed by Udon Entertainement.
Overview
Thanks to the final success of Persona 4, Atlus ordered a manga adaptation of the game to be made the year following its release. Shūji Sogabe, who also worked on the Persona 3 manga, is also put in charge of this adaptation, and juggles the publication of two mangas, even if Persona 4 is prioritized during its start. The manga is edited by Media Works, starting on September 19, 2008 and ending serialization on March 27, 2019. In the United States, it is published by Udon Entertainement. The manga does not feature any of the story additions from Persona 4 Golden.
Synopsis
The manga follows the protagonist, named Souji Seta. Because of the nature of his parents' work, Souji has frequently changed schools. At the start of the story, Souji moves in from the city to Inaba, a small town where his uncle Ryotaro Dojima lives. As he gets ready to spend one whole year there, Souji is exposed to a series of bizarre murders that take place.
