Deserted Ship is a location in the Junkyard in Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner.

Gameplay

The Deserted Ship cannot be exited until it is completed, nor can it be returned to after it is completed. Once it is entered, Argilla and Heat will leave the party. The party starts in the hall and must make their way to the bottom of the ship in order to plant the first explosive. There are no random encounters until after the first explosive is set. Then, the party must plant another 7 explosives - one per accessible floor - before being able to fight Camazotz. Argilla re-joins the party at the start of the boss fight and Heat re-joins the party afterwards.

Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner

Following the events at Coordinate 136, the Embryon devise a plan to kill Bat, now with the Brutes. To accomplish this, they go to the Deserted Ship that Cielo had seen on the way to Mystery Castle and spread rumors of Sera's presence there to lure the Brutes. Argilla disguises herself as Sera to further the deception while Serph, Gale and Cielo plant bombs in the ship and Heat escorts the real Sera, who was sad that the ship would be destroyed, to the new Embryon base. Bat flies into the ship, only to be confronted by a lone Argilla. The other Embryon members finish planting the explosives and confront Camazotz, emerging victorious for the final time as the Deserted Ship explodes with Bat and some of the Brutes in it, escaping with Cielo's flight.

In the data Schrödinger displays to Serph in the EGG Installation, it is revealed that Serph Sheffield promised Sera a trip on a ship if she could talk to Brahman for ten minutes. A ship can be seen in Sera's virtual world referencing the promise, which would later become the Deserted Ship once that world became the Junkyard.
