Ying Long is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.
Profile
Origin
Yinglong is a legendary monster mentioned in the Classic of Mountains and Seas, as a beast that killed Chi You and Kuafu, and can no longer ascend. It lives on Xiongli Hill in the Northeast Wilderness. If seen, a great downpour is imminent; otherwise, droughts are frequent.[1] In legends of the Great Flood of China where Yu the Great was sent to control them, it is also said that Yinglong's tail was used to draw the rivers that enabled the floods to progress into the sea, founding the Nine Provinces.[2][3]
