Trivia

• In the Japanese versions of the Persona 2 duology, Tensen Nyannyan speaks Chinese upon being summoned: 你好！　我叫天仙娘々！！　我出生你海。　我希望理解你。　你不是単人。　我会一生待你好的♥, meaning "Hello! My name is Tianxian Niang(niang)!! I come from the sea. I wish to understand you. You are not "one person". I will treat you well your whole life, alright♥"
  • This uses the iteration mark 々 (used to indicate the same character as the one prior), which, while used frequently in Japanese, is used only rarely in Chinese (and never in any formal writing).
  • 単 is the Japanese variant of 单/單, not seeing any use in Simplified or Traditional Chinese. Seemingly intended to mean alone, 单人 would not be idiomatic in Standard Mandarin, translating roughly as "one person" or a single bedroomed house. A more accurate translation would be 孤单 gūdān.
