Fog is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.
Profile
Origin
Fog is described in Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei: Hisshō Kōryaku-hō Kanpeki-ban as the ghost of a pirate whose treasure was stolen.[1] Given the demon's name, it is likely inspired by the 1980 American film The Fog directed by John Carpenter, which features the ghost of a ship captain whose gold was stolen.
Design
Fog has no sprite in the Famicom version of Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei. In Kyūyaku Megami Tensei: Megami Tensei I, Fog appears as a floating blue skeleton wearing a stereotypical pirate's clothing.
