Stone is a recurring Status Ailment in the Megami Tensei franchise.
Profile
Stone typically completely immobilizes the afflicted unit, rendering them unable to take any form of action. Additionally, it is often considered identical to death, meaning that if either the protagonist or the entire party is inflicted, it will result in a game over.

Afflicted targets become completely unable to act, have reduced defense, cannot be eaten by Hunt skills and die instantly if struck by Physical, Gun, Force or Earth attacks. If all allies become petrified, it results in a game over.
