The Core Shield is a recurring item in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Profile

In most titles, the Core Shield is a weaker version of the Amulet and negates damage zones until the next Full Moon. This is a similar effect to Liftoma, which does so until the next New Moon. In Megami Ibunroku Persona, it casts Liftoma outright.

In Shin Megami Tensei: Nine, it is a Plug-in Software that grants the skill Canceller.
