Novel Appearances
"Dog Days"
The Casuals were a small tribe, based in Svadhisthana. They were led by Kairos Miku, but were also subordinates of the Vanguards, to the point that Harley Q led a platoon containing Kairos to Ground Zero. Kairos was killed there, which is speculated to be due to the chaos caused by the introduction of Atma to the Junkyard.
With the death of Harley at the Embryon's hands, the Vanguards were dissolved, dissolving the Casuals by extension and giving the Embryon control over Svadhisthana. The remaining Casuals, now led by Zada, however, decided to try a rebellion against the Embryon, but were preemptively stopped once Embryon scouts found them. The Casuals, now seemingly completely apathetic, were captured and imprisoned in a warehouse, while Zada was kept in isolation and under strict surveillance.
Later, Zada breaks out by controlling the guards watching her and devours the other Casuals to empower her Atma, ultimately gaining control over much of the Embryon, but she is killed as well. Serph infers that the other Casuals were also affected by Zada's power, and she likely only ever intended to devour them for strength.
