Ground Zero is a location in Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner.
Gameplay
Ground Zero has a number of NPCs that Serph can talk to, but visiting it is never required to enter it to progress the story, nor are there any enemies.
Once the party first enters Manipura, Ground Zero becomes permanently inaccessible.

Ground Zero is the initial site of the spreading of the Atma virus throughout the Junkyard. The Embryon and the Vanguards meet there for a conflict, believing the mysterious egg-shaped object there belonged to the opposing tribe. The object is then struck by a beam of light from the sky, detonating it and unleashing several more beams of light containing the Atma virus that scatter throughout the Junkyard, infecting all of its residents. The Embryon and Vanguard soldiers there transform into berserk demons and begin attacking each other. The Embryon survive the event, falling unconscious for a length of time, then awakening to find Sera in the crater left by the explosion.
