Asterius is a Persona in the Persona series.

Origin

Asterius is the birth name of the Minotaur. With respect to Persona 4 Arena, both the Minotaur and Labrys are linked to the Labyrinth of Crete, the former in myth and the latter in iconography and name.

Asterius resembles a minotaur that seems to have a buff humanoid body that is dark, however, only the shoulders and above are to be shown from a fiery pit. The head of Asterius is that of a metallic bull's skull with a curved chimney-like constructs with fire spewing from the tops on either side of their head. The neck connecting the skull and body is fleshy with muscle. The hands of Asterius also come from a fiery pit and are black with white fingers and long black nails. Along Asterius's body is chains that hold them down. Ranging from the bottom of their horns, shoulders, and each one of their knuckles.
