Design
Arachne, following the transformation, is a large spider-like creature. Her body is steel-colored; it is divided into an abdomen and a torso, and has a tough metallic carapace. Her face resembles Zada's, though she has fangs which produce acidic threads. Arachne can produce spiders, which are palm-sized and entirely black with cylindrical feet.

"Dog Days"
Arachne is a Common Atma, and the one Zada possesses. It is noted to be weak even by Zada herself, being only known to spit adhesive acid and produce paralyzing venom. However, Zada hides from the Embryon that she also has the power to take control of people, and uses that ability to escape confinement. She then devours the Casuals, which causes her Arachne to become significantly larger, and deploys several spiders towards multiple locations. The ones headed towards the main Embryon base are destroyed by Gale and Heat, and Serph kills one himself shortly before receiving Cielo's report on the situation.
When Serph arrives on the field, Zada instructs the Embryon under her control to attack the core members so she can devour them, also beginning to spit acidic threads at them. Unwilling to kill the Embryon, Serph has Cielo rain lighting on the whole battlefield to paralyze them, then has Gale blow them all away with his wind, leaving Zada with no protection. Heat then throws Serph into the air, allowing him to drill into Arachne's body with his blades and freeze her from the inside. This does not kill her immediately, but Heat ensures her death by destroying her head with fire. Heat leaves, while the remaining three stay behind to devour Arachne's remains.
