In Golden, Shiroku Store turns into Shiroku Pub during the evening.
Feed Akihiko
The protagonist can feed Shiroku's pet fish, Akihiko, with various insects. At first, Akihiko will want a Tatsuhime Ladybug. The very first time he is fed, he will cough up a Fish Hook which can be used to unlock Fishing. He can be fed one insect per day. After eating five, Akihiko will grow tired of that bug and want a different one. The order in which he will eat the bugs is as follows:
- Tatsuhime Ladybug x 5
- Yaso Locust x 5
- Meiou Cricket x 5
- Inaba Jewel Beetle x 5
- Daimyo Grasshopper x 5
- Heike Stag Beetle x 5
- Genji Beetle x 5
The first time he is fed a new insect, Akihiko will leave the protagonist a Ryugu Stone. After he has gotten a taste for Genji Beetles, he will no longer want new insects, and will produce a Ryugu Stone for every five Genji Beetles fed to him.
Exchange
The protagonist can exchange jewels for equipment.

Boo: I Bear a Grudge On You
During this side story for Persona 4 The Golden Animation, Dojima and Adachi are drinking at Shiroku Pub. Dojima passes out, drunk, after rambling about Naoto Shirogane. Adachi takes a call about a suspicious person at Yasogami High, but sends Naoto over to investigate instead due to how drunk Dojima is.
Nomenclature
Shiroku is written 四六, meaning four and six, and the shop UI contains an image of a frog. This is a reference to folklore about the four-six toad (Japanese: 四六のガマ, Hepburn Shiroku no gama) of Mt. Tsukuba that is said to have four front fingers and six back toes.
During the evening, Shiroku's signage says 紫路宮 which is also pronounced Shiroku but written with different kanji meaning "purple road palace". The "palace" makes the protagonist's trip there to retrieve a fish hook an allusion to the tale of Hoori who visits Ryugu Palace to retrieve his brother's fish hook and it turns out to be stuck in a fish's mouth.
