This is a list of references to the Megami Tensei franchise in the Devil Survivor series.
Devil Survivor
- The title screen is a reference to the original Shin Megami Tensei's cover art.
- All of the rival Demon Tamers in the Devil Auction are references to characters from other Megami Tensei games.
- Nakajima and Yumiko are the main characters of the Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei series.
- Hero is the protagonist of Shin Megami Tensei.
- The rest of the rivals are all references to characters from the Devil Summoner series. Kuzunoha, which is likely either Kyouji Kuzunoha or the Protagonist of Devil Summoner. Reiho, a playable character in Devil Summoner and a reoccurring character in the series. Victor, the owner of the Goumaden and the one who performs fusions for the protagonists of the series, as well as his maid Mary and Muramasa from Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers. Ginko, the owner of Club Cretaceous. Dr. Thrill, a reoccurring character in the series. Nemissa, one of the main characters of Soul Hackers. Spooky, founder and leader of the Spookies, as well as the other members Lunch, Dinner, Six, and Yuichi. And lastly several members of the Phantom Society: Nishi, Finnegan, Carol J, Judah S, Mayone, and Naomi.
