- Paulownia Mall is modeled after VenusFort [ja], a mall on the artificial island of Odaiba that closed in 2022.
- The music that plays when using the Crane Machine in Persona 3 Reload is a remix of the theme of Satomi Tadashi Pharmacy.
- The arcade game titled "House of the Deceased" in Persona 3 Reload may be a reference to The House of the Dead, a light-gun shooter game series by Sega.
Nomenclature
The name of the mall comes from the first character of the Kirijo family name, 桐 kiri, which means "paulownia".[1]
