Persona 4

During the class trip to Tatsumi Port Island, the Investigation Team visits Club Escapade. Rise mentions that she had an invitation-only live show at Club Escapade two years ago before her big break as an idol,[1] but there was a power failure, and she had to cancel it. This was a mechanical failure that was unrelated to the Hermit Shadow fight in Persona 3.[2] Due to this incident, the club owes Rise, and the group gets the 2nd floor all to themselves with free food and drinks. There, they play the King's Game. After, Naoto tries to coax information about the murder case out of the group, but misinterprets Yukiko talking about Personas to be nonsense. Naoto also questions how Rise and Yukiko somehow got drunk when the club has not served alcohol for the past year as a protest to drunk driving.

Trivia

  • In Persona 3 Portable, a man resembling Vincent Brooks from Atlus's puzzle game Catherine appears at Club Escapade and hints at the events that happen in his game. As Atlus revealed on a web show in 2011, that's not actually Vincent, but rather a lookalike with a mole.[3]
