Starting in May, the protagonist can purchase items from Tanaka's Amazing Commodities on Sundays. Once a thick fog envelopes Inaba during November, Tanaka begins selling sets of gas masks and first aid kits for ¥29,800 that always sell out instantly, and the protagonist becomes unable to purchase anything from the shopping program.
In Golden, Tanaka's program airs Sunday through Tuesday. After the fog lifts at the end of 2011, Tanaka resumes his normal business in January and the protagonist is able to order from his program again.
