Synopsis

Chronologically, the audio drama takes place between episodes 5 and 6, portrays parts of the Social Links from the game that do not get shown in the anime, and has early cameos from Rise Kujikawa and Naoto Shirogane.

Yu has joined the basketball team. The team's manager, Ai, makes no effort to hide her crush on Kou, acting friendly and sweet towards him while being dismissive towards the rest of the basketball team. Ai tries to stay behind with Kou during cleaning duties, but Kou is completely oblivious to her crush and goes off with Yu and leaves the cleaning entirely up to her. The two of them go see Daisuke at soccer practice. Kou is surprised when Daisuke messes up and assumes something is throwing off his game. Yu further discovers that Kou has a crush on Chie, and Ai has no chance of getting together with him.

Meanwhile, Nanako tells Yu that her class has started playing soccer during PE, and asks him to teach her how to play soccer. Yu decides to ask Daisuke about soccer so that he can teach Nanako. When Nanako goes to practice soccer by herself, Daisuke happens to see her and shows off a little. He uses her ball to help catch a suspect who is running from Adachi and Dojima. At the police station, Adachi tries to get the suspect to write his name, but the suspect refuses to listen to him. After Dojima sternly tells the suspect to write his name, Adachi tries to act more tough like Dojima, but reverts back immediately after the suspect yells at him.

Yukiko wants to study to be an interior decorator so she can leave one day. She needs to get a part-time job she can do inconspicuously to save up to buy study materials. She runs into Yu, who tells her about part-time jobs she can do in her room. While Yu and Kou eat at Aiya, they overhear Rise giving an interview on the radio. Rise uses her usual idol attitude while interviewing, then swaps to her usual personality after the interview is over. Her agent approaches her and lets her know she got a role in a movie. Rise misinterprets it to be a live action version of Magical Detective Loveline, but it turns out to be another unnamed project which her agent is pushing so that she remains relevant. Elsewhere, Naoto finishes a case about a company CEO being killed by their secretary, then speaks to a colleague about the Inaba murders and talks about going to Inaba to join the task force soon.

On his way to meet with Kou and Daisuke, Yu runs into Adachi at Junes. Yu tells him that he saw his uncle looking for him in the Central Shopping District. Adachi quickly hurries off, taking his mayo cabbage bread and cabbage juice with him. As he runs off, Yu comments on what a surreal combination of food that is. Yu meets with Kou and Daisuke in Okina where Kou reveals this is a group date with some girls he knows. Daisuke, who has a crush on someone already, storms off. After practice, Daisuke realizes the girl he has a crush on has her eyes on an upperclassman. He and Kou talk about Daisuke's commitment to soccer, and Yu finally asks Daisuke how to play soccer so he can teach Nanako later. But when Yu arrives home, Nanako tells him that her class has already quit playing soccer and has moved onto unicycling. Nanako asks if he can teach her how to unicycle. After a pause, Yu tells Nanako to wait for him so he can go learn how to unicycle first.
