Penthesilea is a Persona in Persona 3. It is the initial Persona of Mitsuru Kirijo.
Profile
Origin
In Greek myth, Penthesilea was an Amazon queen and daughter of Ares. She assisted Troy in the Trojan war and was killed by Achilles.[1]
Design
Penthesilea's appearance is that of a warrior queen. It wears metallic armor on its body and face, and wears a crown on its head, signifying its queenly position. It holds a dagger in its right hand, while in its left hand, it wields a rapier. Her right breastplate lacks a design on it in reference to the myth that female Greek Amazonian warriors would sever their breasts to become better archers.[citation needed]
