Yaso Magatsuhi is a Zoma (artificial demon) named after a figure in Shinto, Yaso Magatsuhi, who with Oo Magatsuhi is one of a pair of deities created from the impurities washed off of Izanagi's body.

出身地:日本 イザナギ神が生み出した、八十禍津日神(ヤソマガツヒノカミ)の名を持つ造魔。 伊邪那岐(イザナギ)神が、黄泉の国から現世に戻った時、死の国へ行ったことにより穢れた体を祓うため、禊を行った。流れに潜って洗い落とした死の穢れから、生まれた2神のうちの1柱が八十禍津日神である。 「八十禍」は多くの災いといった意味。ヤソマガツヒは、この神の名をつけられた造魔であり謎の古代王国によって造られた親衛隊的存在であったらしい。Translation: Place of origin: |

- The book Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner no Subete incorrectly derives Yaso Magatsuhi's name from the Chinese name of Jesus, which is pronounced Yaso in Japanese.[1]
