Tenjiku Tokubei is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.
Profile
Origin
Tenjiku Tokubei was a famous Japanese adventurer and writer during the 17th century.
In 1627, he traveled to Siam (modern Thailand) via China and Vietnam on board a Red Seal ship, and would stay there for some time.[1] He would later return to Siam on board a Dutch ship. He also sailed to India, to the source of the Ganges river, and the country of Magadha.
After returning to Japan, he wrote an essay titled Tenjiku Tokai Monogatari,[a] chronicling his adventures in foreign countries.
