Game Appearances
Shin Megami Tensei V
Following the defeat of Arioch in the Demon King's Castle, Abdiel summons the representatives of Bethel to the Summit Conference Hall for a Pandemonic Summit. Tsukuyomi of the Japanese branch, as Hayao Koshimizu, is accompanied by the Nahobino, Yuzuru Atsuta and Ichiro Dazai as security detail. Also present are Khonsu of the Egyptian branch, Odin of the Nordic branch, Zeus of the Greek branch and Vasuki, filling in for Shiva of the Indian branch.
Abdiel relays the success of the recent operation, and allows the retreat of Bethel's forces in Da'at. Odin interrupts, saying that he is more concerned with rumors that Lucifer defeated the Creator, and the other representatives agree that, if He is dead, then there is no point in continuing the alliance. Abdiel dismisses the thought that He could be defeated, and says that they should wait together for Him to rise again. Khonsu believes in reviewing the circumstances, which Abdiel agrees to and allows some discussion to happen, allowing the Nahobino to glean the thoughts and ideals from everyone present.
The representatives object to maintaining Bethel and each declare their intent to reshape the world, using the Nahobino's existence as evidence that the Condemnation and the Creator's order are no longer in effect. Abdiel fights the Nahobino with the intent to prove otherwise, but she is defeated. With this development, the representatives sever their ties to Bethel and move to find their Knowledge to become Nahobino themselves. Tsukuyomi in particular says that he is satisfied with this outcome.
Later, the Nahobino accompanies Dazai to the summit, as he feels like he needs Abdiel to help him make a decision. She is dejected due to losing to the Nahobino, but Dazai pleads for her to continue, and even offers to find her Knowledge so she can match the strength of the Nahobino. Abdiel interrupts him, saying that it is Dazai himself who is her Knowledge, but even then, she is not allowed to defy the Condemnation as an archangel. The Nahobino leaves, and at that moment, Lucifer speaks to Abdiel and Dazai, who says that Abdiel must bring about her wishes herself. The two are left alone, pondering.
