The Septentrione are the seven stars that make up the Big Dipper asterism, as well as Alcor and Polaris.
The Triangulum are three stars that make up the Spring Triangle asterism, although Denebola is sometimes replaced by Regulus, another star in the Leo constellation. Together with Cor Caroli, these stars also make up the Great Diamond asterism.
In Japanese, each Star has a unique race. The race names for the Septentriones comes from the names given to the stars of the Big Dipper in the Daoist text 北斗治法武威經Beidou Zhifa Wuwei Jing. The races of most summoned minions, like the Merak Missiles, is the race of the Septentrione who summoned it minus the 星 (Star) kanji.

Notes
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 In the original localization of Devil Survivor 2, Kochab and Er Rai were referred to as "Kawkab" and "Eli".[2] This was changed in Record Breaker, and they now use correct spellings for the stars' names.
