Polaris is an entity in Devil Survivor 2.
Profile
Origin
Polaris is the North or Pole star in the Ursa Minor constellation, formally designated as α Ursae Minoris.
Design
Polaris has two different forms seen in-game. Her first form is bright white, primarily made up of her "head', a cylinder shape with a long sharp point at the bottom that connects it to her body. Polaris's face appears to be made up of two squinted eyes and a hole directly above and below the center of her face. Attached to the top of her head is a massive radiant circle made up of interlocking pieces in a cracked formation. This headpiece also connects to her two "arms" on each end, which are sharp, almost tooth-like objects. Her lower body has an hourglass shape, with two crossed "legs" that join together to create a spike as the base.
Her second form is drastically different, turning from bright white to a dark grey with purple pentagons lighting up all over her body. Polaris's headpiece also turns black. In this form, her main body transforms into a large oval shape with what appear to be a pair of breasts at the top. Her body is covered by two massive limbs wide enough to surround the enormous frame. Her right and left arms, attached to her headpiece, also become wider and act as extensions of her main body. These arms are labeled Polaris B and Polaris Ab respectively in battle.

Game Appearances
Polaris appears as the final boss and leader of the Septentriones. As the world's Administrator, she occupies the Heavenly Throne in the Akashic Stratum. This gives her direct access to the Akashic Record, allowing her to manipulate the world's data as she sees fit.
Polaris believed that mankind had become complacent in their evolution and corrupt in their ways, and sent the Septentriones as a test. If humanity was able to defeat the alien invaders, Polaris would grant audience to the humans who bested her trial and create a world representative of their will, believing it to be the will of mankind. Polaris is fought at the end of the game no matter what route is chosen, but certain routes will change the dialogue, fight objectives, and stages somewhat.
In the Osaka and Nagoya routes, Polaris will acknowledge the will of the party after being defeated and restore the world according to their ideals. During the second phase of the battle on the Osaka route, the party will have to defeat a large number of powerful demons, while on the Nagoya route the party must defend two civilians from various demons that prioritize targeting them.
In the Recurrent route, Polaris agrees to rewind time to before the Septentriones invasion at the cost of the party's memories of their time together. The second phase of this route has the party fight off shadow versions of themselves, who give voice to characters' doubts.
In the Tokyo route, the party engages Polaris with intent to kill rather than negotiate, which angers Polaris. This causes her to become stronger in the third phase, as she does not hold back against them. Additionally, during the second phase, she will identify the protagonist as the leader of the group and summons demons to target him above all else. Starting from the second and third phase, the protagonist dying will result in a game over. Despite her increased efforts, the party kill Polaris and the world is freed from her influence.
In the Alcor route, the party plan to kill Polaris and place Alcor, referred to in this route as Al Saiduq, on the Heavenly Throne instead. Similarly to the Tokyo route fight, Polaris becomes much more powerful on account of not holding back. During the second phase, Al Saiduq will be sealed and prevented from acting outside of skirmishes. Additionally, Al Saiduq must survive the entire fight and cannot damage Polaris on his own: if all other human leaders are defeated, it is treated a game over. Ultimately, however, Polaris is overthrown and Al Saiduq becomes the new Administrator.
The Triangulum scenario takes place after an ending that is not possible in the Septentrione arc. In this impossible ending, the 14 demon tamers gathered together to overthrow Polaris and place Al Saiduq, a being benevolent towards humanity, on the Heavenly Throne in her place. Al Saiduq was then meant to reset the world to its state before the Septentriones' invasion.
