Origin

Dubhe is a star system in the Ursa Major constellation, formally designated α Ursae Majoris.

The Japanese name for Dubhe's race, 貪狼星, comes from the Daoist text 北斗治法武威經.

Trivia

• Dubhe plays a part in Devil Survivor 2's anti-piracy. If the game detects a pirated copy is being played, Daichi will never reappear and hit Dubhe with a truck, thus making it impossible to continue as Dubhe cannot be damaged.
