This 6-page interview is conducted by Nobuyuki Shioda and asks Kazuyuki Yamai and Yusuke Miyata to elaborate on the game's setting and background. Some of the questions asked discuss topics such as the circumstances surrounding Stephen, the motivations of the game's various factions and ideologies, and explaining certain writing choices made.

Shioda's Demon Columns

This section contains 20 essays written by Nobuyuki Shioda that discuss his research into certain mythological topics related to Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse. He chose a topic by picking two key terms related to the game then presenting his research.[1] These essays were originally published to the game's official Japanese website, with the first essay being released on October 23, 2015[2] and the last essay on March 25, 2016.[3] The versions of the essays found in the artbook have undergone certain edits that include spoilers from later sections of the game.
