Scarecrow is an original creation, though its name is derived from the character Scarecrow from L. Frank Baum's Oz series of novels, who, in the first novel, has concerns over not having a brain.

Scarecrow means "scarecrow". This emaciated zombie shows up to loiter around in places where demons appear. It more-or-less attacks humans on sight, but despite its name, it is very weak. Judging by its appearance, it seems like it escaped from a hospital. Although its goal is not well-understood, it is said it is searching for its lost brain, like the Scarecrow from "The Wizard of Oz".
