Shin Megami Tensei (A-Mode DDS)	Origin: Sri Lanka The king of the Rakshasas. He has ten heads and twenty arms, copper eyes, and a body that can reach the clouds. After intense penance, he attained invulnerability from gods and demons. However, he was defeated by Rama, an avatar of Vishnu.

Ravana is a demon allied with the forces of Chaos. As he is preventing God from descending onto the Basilica, he is locked in battle with Vishnu at the Government Office Building. On the Law route, the Hero is tasked with aiding Vishnu in defeating him. He similarly strikes him down on the Neutral route. After his defeat, his son Indrajit angrily attacks the party to avenge him.

On the Chaos route, the Hero is instead sent to recruit Ravana and defeat Vishnu.
