Persora: The Golden Best 5, stylized as PERSORA -THE GOLDEN BEST 5-, is a compilation album featuring songs from the Persona series.
Production
Persora: The Golden Best 5 is the fifth and final album in a series of concept albums that are based on the "Persora Theater" segment of Persona Stalker Club. Viewers would submit what the English lyrics in Persona music sounded like to them in Japanese, and the songs that frequently came up during the Persora segments were collected into the five albums. The album was announced on August 11, 2018 as a bundled bonus included with copies of the Persora Awards 3: Memento Mori☆Mori Box, though it also released separately.[1] On September 21st, it was announced that the album and Blu-ray release date would be pushed back to October 31, 2018.[2]
Release and reception
The 17 song album was released on a single disc on October 31, 2018, published and distributed by Mastard Records.[3] All art for the album was illustrated by Yuji Himukai, the main artist for the Etrian Odyssey series. "Beneath the Mask (Misty Evening in Yoncha Remix)" was included as a bonus track, and was arranged by Ryota Kozuka.
On the Oricon charts, the album peaked at number 224 and held a placement on the top 300 album list for 1 week.[4]
