"Beneath the Mask" is a song in Persona 5. It was composed and arranged by Shoji Meguro with lyrics written by Rike Schmalz, and is sung by Lyn Inaizumi.
An instrumental version plays instead at the beginning of the game, and the instrumental version is intended to reflect the protagonist's feelings after being falsely accused.[1] The organ used in this instrumental version has an effect which simulates a rotary speaker.[2] There are also rain versions of both the vocal and instrumental versions.
Both the instrumental and vocal versions, along with the rain variants thereof, are present in the album Persona 5 Original Soundtrack.
