Soul Phrase is the main opening theme of the game and the first to play before the title screen. The video is split between two perspectives, at top and bottom of the screen and left and right of the screen. This allows the player to rotate their PlayStation Portable system to see the other side, demonstrating the differences between the male protagonist and the new female protagonist of this version.

Soul Phrase is featured as a danceable song, with no change or remixing from the original version
