The Hero is a playable character and the protagonist of Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei II.
In the Kyūyaku Megami Tensei remaster, "Hero" is the protagonist's default name given if no name is entered at his naming screen.
Profile
Hero is a young man living in Keihin Shelter No. 3. He wears a blue, collared uniform accompanied by dark boots. A yellow patch bearing the number “5521” is affixed to the left side of his chest, and a circular red patch marked “No. 3” appears on his upper right sleeve, which is placed on the left sleeve in Kyūyaku Megami Tensei.
Gameplay
Hero begins with 5 points in each of his five stats, along with an additional 15 points that the player may allocate to any stat. He is the only human character in the game who can operate a COMP and summon Demons into his active party. Unlike the other party members, he is unable to learn or use any magic skills.
