Daidara is the owner of the game's equipment shop, Daidara Metalworks. He considers the things he makes to be works of art.

Chie Satonaka knows of Daidara's shop and recommends it as a place to buy equipment after the protagonist and Yosuke Hanamura's other weapons get confiscated by the police. From then on, Daidara's shop functions as the town's weapon shop. He views his creations as works of art and encourages the protagonist to bring him new materials so that he can forge new pieces of art.

Persona 4 Golden

On rainy evenings, Daidara loses track of time and remains open at night, even offering the protagonist a discount.

During rank 6 of Marie's Social Link, the Investigation Team brings Marie to Daidara's shop and he identifies the comb that Marie carries as being made of bamboo similar to that grown in the Chūgoku region.
