Sera is a main character in the Digital Devil Saga series, and a playable character in Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2. She is an enigmatic being who lands into the Junkyard inside a mysterious egg-like object and subsequently becomes a member of the Embryon tribe.

Sera, also known as Seraphita, and the Cyber Shaman, is a timid and compassionate girl with the unique ability to calm those afflicted by the Demon Virus. Using the mysterious power of her song, which she refers to as her Prayer[1], she is able to stop a rampaging demon from going mad with hunger.
Gameplay

At the start of the party's turn, Sera will cure a random ally's Hunger if any are afflicted by it. Despite her presence in the fights where the party can be afflicted by Hunger, she otherwise cannot be interacted with.
During the first phase of the Ravana fight, at the start of each of the party's turns, Sera will hint at Ravana's position.
Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2
Sera joins the party towards the end of the events at the Power Plant. She inherits all of Serph's stats, set skills and mastered Mantra. Her human form and Atma form, Varnani, are functionally identical to Serph and Varna, with the exception that the player does not assign her stats on a level up.
Once the party reaches the Sun, Serph and Sera fuse into Seraph.

After crash-landing at Ground Zero, Sera is taken in by the Embryon tribe, and claims that she has been sent to the Junkyard to help them. Though they are initially suspicious of her, the Embryons soon conclude that her intentions to help them are sincere. She herself is said to be the path to Nirvana, and as such is highly sought after by the other tribes, who attempt to kidnap her.
