Sahasrara is a location in Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner. It is where the Karma Temple is located, and a neutral zone in the war between the tribes where their leaders convene to receive information.
Gameplay
Sahasrara is visited after the events in Svadhisthana, unlocking Mantras, though no combat can occur there at that point and access is heavily restricted.
Much later, after the events in Ajna, the Karma Temple becomes fully accessible as the final dungeon. The party must fight their way in through the Temple Guards and several mini-bosses in order to reach the top and fight Harihara. The main mechanic of the dungeon is the corrupted surfaces, which pull the party through a wall or floor when stepped on.

Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner
After the residents of the Junkyard are infected with Atma and Harley's death, the leaders of the remaining tribes - Serph, Jinana, Mick the Slug, Lupa and Varin Omega - are summoned by the Dissemination Machine to the Karma Temple for an undisclosed reason. There, the Dissemination Machine initially proclaims that there is nothing to discuss, despite the summons, though it is quickly interrupted and hijacked by Angel, who was the real entity behind the summons. They decree a new commandment for the Temple: in order to reach the mythical Nirvana, one tribe must stand alone, having slain all the other leaders, and bring the "black-haired girl" (Sera) with them. Once Serph tries to ask for more information, Angel seemingly has an outburst, with their voice becoming distorted, then disappearing in a flash of light.
It is later revealed in a flashback that Varin Omega, who had awakened to his emotions at seeing Serph during the meeting, confronted Angel afterwards in the Karma Temple, claiming to be Colonel Beck and to know who Angel is and demanding to leave. Angel retorted that it was the Colonel's own actions that locked him there and that he must open the way to Nirvana as she decreed, though they still grant him some assistance via the Hunger Wave ability, seemingly out of pity.
Once every tribe is defeated by the Embryon, Sera flees to the Karma Temple, using her powers as Cyber Shaman to override the Temple's security and prevent the Embryon from chasing her, though they manage to do so anyway. At the top of the Temple, Sera, with a Rakshasa, confronts Angel, who appears in person at the Junkyard as her human self. Sera asks for Angel to leave the Junkyard alone if she leaves with her, though Angel refuses. Sera then threatens to harm herself with her Rakshasa, but Angel, having gained control of the Junkyard, reveals the Control Sphere and deletes the Rakshasa, then begins deleting the Junkyard. The Embryon arrive at the top, intending to take Sera to Nirvana, even resisting her commands to stop and fighting Angel's Atma, Harihara. Angel is bested by the Embryon and Serph destroys her Control Sphere, which dooms the Junkyard to destruction, forcing the Embryon, Sera and Angel to escape.
