Trivia
In the events of Persona 4, which takes place in 2011, 2 years after Persona 3, during Kanji Tatsumi's rank 6 Social Link, there's a reference to a book about a pink alligator.[1] This is Akinari's story, which Mitsuru Kirijo had published after discovering his notebook that had previously been left in the care of the protagonist. The book spread via word of mouth, though no one knows who the author is.[2]
The notebook Akinari wrote The Pink Alligator in and gives to the protagonist.
