Visualive Persona 4 is a stage play based on Persona 4, the fifth entry in the Persona series. It saw a limited run at the Sunshine Theater in Ikebukuro from March 15th to 20th, 2012.[1] The sequel, Visualive Persona 4: The Evolution, was performed in October of 2012, after the release of Persona 4 Golden.
Synopsis
The stage play covers from after Rise's dungeon to Mitsuo's dungeon. During the performance recorded for the DVD of Visualive, the protagonist was named Yūya Seta. The characters are portrayed by actors on stage with Personas and other special effects projected on the screen behind them, and a separate director was in charge of these sequences. Rise did not appear as a character, but her voice actress from the video game had pre-recorded lines that played while the protagonist spoke to her on his phone.
Home Release
The DVD was released on July 27, 2012. It included a booklet, bonus backstage footage, and a 3d holographic card.[2]
