Windswept is an ailment primarily inflicted by Wind-attribute attacks.
Gameplay
Persona 5: The Phantom X
When inflicted, Windswept will reduce the Defense of the afflicted by 12%. Windswept is classified as an elemental ailment and is affected by battle conditions or skills that involve elemental ailments, such as the Technical damage bonus on Nuclear-attribute skills. It is primarily associated with the Wind element, but is also inflicted by some Nuclear-attribute skills that interact with elemental ailments as a whole. It is also classified as a debuff, and will be cured by general debuff-cure effects such as Yukari's Assist. For Wonder, the chance of inflicting Windswept is increased if the Persona has a Windswept Boost skill.
Some Shadows have the ability to evolve Windswept to an enhanced form known as Ultrawindswept when inflicted on Wonder's party, which will increase the Defense reduction of the ailment from 12% to 24%.
