Next-Generation Amphibious Assault Ships are vehicles in Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey.

Profile

The next-generation amphibious assault ships are enormous battleships designed by the Schwarzwelt Joint Project to traverse the harsh environment of the Schwarzwelt. Four of these ships were assigned to the Schwarzwelt Investigation Team for their expedition. Ship 1, the Red Sprite, was used as the command center. Ship 3, the Elve, was designed to be where the scientists would conduct most of the research. Ships 2 and 4, the Blue Jet and the Gigantic, were intended to perform any necessary military support.[1]

The ships are capable of flight for brief periods of time and are equipped with plasma engines, which can generate special shielding to defend against the plasma cloud surrounding the Schwarzwelt.[2]
