Overview
"I Wish I Had Friends" can be accepted after completing "We Wish Our Dog Would Return". This quest is part of the Hermit Social Link with the Fox. When the protagonist visits the Fox at Tatsuhime Shrine, it brings him an ema from a boy who wishes he had friends. The protagonist finds the young boy on the road of the Samegawa Flood Plain. He thinks that if he had a rare sticker, then other kids would be friends with him. The protagonist brings him a Prize Sticker that comes with Tanaka's Amazing Commodities orders. At first, the boy is excited, but when the protagonist talks to him again, he finds out the other kids told him that's an adult sticker. After this, the protagonist searches for a kid friendly sticker, this time getting a Tankiriman Sticker either from Nanako Dojima or from the Dojima family fridge. The boy ends up making friends and thanks the protagonist and the fox at the shrine for this. Upon returning to the fox and reporting back what happened, the fox's bond with the protagonist deepens, and the Hermit Social Link increases to rank 5.
