Hereward is a Persona in the Persona series. It is Goro Akechi's third tier Persona in Persona 5 Royal.

Origin
Hereward the Wake was an Anglo-Saxon noble who led a resistance against the Norman Conquest of England. It is hypothesized that stories of him eventually evolved into those of Robin Hood.
Hereward is said to have been the son of Leofric, the Lord of Bourne. Much of his life is chronicled in the Middle Latin text Gesta Herewardi, which notes that much of his early adult life was spent in exile due to disobedience towards his father and antisocial behaviour; he was considered an outlaw by Edward the Confessor. During his exile, he is said to have slain a vicious bear in Northumberland, became a notorious braggart in Cornwall who suits a princess, led an invasion into Ireland, attended the Cornish princess's marriage in disguised and ensured the married an Irish prince, and became shipwrecked in Orkney and Flanders when trying to return home. He took on the name "Harold", though it was revealed during his fighting for the Count of Flanders. Unable to make ends meet, he returned to England and led resistance against the Normans, striking fear into the French troops. In the interests of his English nationalism, he only accepted knighthoods in English manner, from English monks. His resistance was chiefly conducted on the Isle of Ely in 1071, which was among the last areas to be subjugated by William the Conqueror. He would travel between Flanders and Ely for a time, continuing to defend it over time, until the people of Ely would strike an agreement with King William. Only after Eadwine, son of Ordgar, talked him down, did Hereward not burn the island down. He would go on to cheat the king several times, promoting English activism, until being imprisoned by Robert de Horepol; however, he was set free after the king decided he had been treated unjustly by de Horepol's hand. He would marry Torfrida of St. Omer, who would go on to become a nun.[1][2]

Loki evolves into Hereward on 2/2 based on a series of conditions. The protagonist must have reached rank 10 of Akechi's Confidant and selected the following specific dialogue choices:
- During Akechi's Rank 7 event: "I'll think about it." or "You're my rival."
- During Akechi's Rank 8 event: "I accept."
- When going to bed the evening after reaching Rank 10 at the end of Shido's Palace: "I want to keep our promise."
- Rejecting Maruki's offer on both 1/9 and 2/2. Upon confirming the latter to Akechi, Hereward will awaken.
Note: Loki and by extension Hereward's base level is technically 45, the same as Robin Hood, and they also share the same stat progression. However, upon becoming playable, Loki begins at level 75, making this also the effective base level for Hereward. If Robin Hood reached a higher level than 75 prior to unlocking Loki, it will carry over.
